LGBTQ+ representation in mainstream society is improving, with more brands engaging with the community than ever before.
Yet fifty seven percent of LGBTQ+ people say they don’t see their lives being represented in advertising¹. And thirty one percent of LGBTQ+ people feel that brands are portraying them badly².
With many activations going no deeper than rainbow flags and clichés to connect with LGBTQ+ people, there’s a demand for the views and opinions of today’s LGBTQ+ community to be better understood and represented by the brands and organisations who serve them.
